We adhere to the highest ethical standards and conduct all assessments, surveys, and treatments in accordance with the American Institute for Conservation's Code of Ethics. With expert training and experience in both Museum and Private Practice Conservation settings, we bring highly-skilled, sensitive, and ethical interventions to institutions of all sizes.
Conservation activities include Examination, Documentation, Treatment, and Preventive Care, supported by Research and Education. A conservation treatment often involves cleaning, stabilization, and visual integration of losses. All procedures are fully documented and alterations are clearly distinguishable from the original object. Any process used is non-destructive and reversible.
Every treatment includes photographic documentation and written records, analysis where appropriate, and clearly defined treatment proposals and treatment records before and after conservation activities.
Upon request we can provide During Treatment updates and photographic records, even real-time video documentation, which is useful for public engagement and social media campaigns.
We are set up to accept credit-cards, but also work with POs in larger institutional and agency settings. For long-term projects, scheduled disbursements can be set up over a fixed-term. Please contact us to discuss your organization's particular requirements.
